Founded in the early 1970’s by Curt Fisher, Fisher Commercial Real Estate began to make its mark in Mankato. The company realized great success as a real estate firm, but also noticed there was untapped opportunity in the region for property management and development. In the 1980’s Fisher Management and Fisher Development were formed to meet the growing demand for professional management of both commercial and residential buildings as well as a development company able to effectively and efficiently manage challenging projects such as historic preservation and the redevelopment of Mankato’s City Center.
As the brand continued to expand, the decision was made by the ownership to merge with Coldwell Banker Commercial (CBC) as a new franchisee in 2006.
The Coldwell Banker Commercial organization comprises more than 220 companies with more than 3,400 professionals throughout the U.S. and internationally. CBC possesses the largest geographic footprint in today’s commercial real estate marketplace. The marrying of a trusted name with the CBC brand brought the company to an entirely new level of prestige.
